EARTH DAY TREE PLANTING FESTIVAL @ THE AVIARY

This 14th annual Earth Day tree planting is now a FESTIVAL. Help restore Churchill Forest above Cootes Paradise with the planting of 1000 native trees and then enjoy yourself at the festival. Food, Mountsberg's BIRDS OF PREY SHOW, tours & roaming birds by Friends of the Aviary, horse & wagon rides into the village of Westdale, organic local farmers, green products in the village, ALL DAY LIVE ENTERTAINMENT with Kim Koren, Melissa Bel, Deb McIvor, Chris and Christa, Christopher Clause, Kenny McInnis, and Dawn Larsh, interactive drum circle, LABYRINTH BUILDING on site - don't miss this, The GREEN FAIR with lots of exhibitors, BIKE REPAIR CLINIC with Evan's Bike Shop, GUIDED NATURE HIKES WITH ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS and more.
